I really enjoy these shoes (got them in red). They fit beautifully a half size down and they feel very stable to dance in. But they are hard to lace up due to the laces really getting stuck in the faux patent material of the top shoe flaps. It’s hard to get the shoes to be symmetrically laced at the toes. The right side toe opening of my shoes is smaller than the left side toe opening because it’s difficult to lace them perfectly to match. I don’t think anyone notices, but they aren’t perfect so I knocked them down a star
